The Players Clubhouse
Delete your account
You can delete your account and personal data at any time. There are two ways.
Option 1: In the app (fastest)
- Open The Players Clubhouse and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and scroll down to Danger Zone at the bottom.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm with your password, or by signing in with Apple again if that's how you sign in.
Your account is deleted immediately.
Option 2: Ask us by email
If you can't use the app or no longer have it installed, email tim@dozerstudios.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Players Clubhouse account". Include your username if you know it. We'll confirm it's you, delete the account, and reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Subscribed through the App Store or Google Play? Cancel it first. We can't cancel those for you, and deleting your account doesn't stop their billing. On iPhone, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Subscriptions bought on our website are cancelled automatically.
What gets deleted
- Your name, email, username, and sign-in details (password and Sign in with Apple or Google links).
- Your GHIN number, home location, and profile photo (including the stored image file).
- Your posts, comments, reactions, notifications, availability, and favorite courses.
- Your credits, push tokens, sign-in sessions, and clubhouse memberships.
- The members you blocked, members who blocked you, and reports you made.
- Pending invitations, any emails waiting to be sent to you, and your email address on past invitations.
- Contact details (email, phone, notes, GHIN number) of guests you added. A guest's name stays only where other players still need it, such as a shared round.
- Your website billing account with our payment processor, and access you gave the app through Sign in with Google.
What stays, without your name
Rounds are shared with the people you played with. So that their results, standings, and handicaps stay correct, these remain but are shown as "Deleted Player":
- Scores and stats from rounds, matches, and events you took part in.
- Completed side games and wagers from earlier versions of the app.
- Reports other members made about you, which we keep as moderation records.
We also remove your user ID, username, and IP address from our logs and error records. Everything else in our logs is deleted automatically after 30 days.
Clubhouses you own
If you own a clubhouse, ownership passes to another member. If you're the only member, the clubhouse is deleted. Upcoming tee times you organized are handed over or removed, and any open wagers left from earlier versions are refunded to the other players.
